Slack integration
Get a message in a Slack channel when a new lead arrives.
What it does
Post a tidy notification into a Slack channel each time someone completes a quiz, so your team sees new leads the moment they land. InsightSquirrel posts to a Slack channel through Zapier, so it only ever sends messages in and never reads anything from your Slack workspace.
What data is sent
- The contact's name and email
- The quiz title, score and result
How to set it up
- Set up the Zapier connection first (see the Zapier page).
- In your Zap, add an action step: Slack, "Send channel message".
- Choose the Slack channel and write your message, dropping in the quiz fields.
- Switch the Zap on.

Common questions
Messages aren't posting.
Make sure Zapier is connected to your Slack workspace and the channel still exists. Zapier will ask you to authorise the connection the first time.
