Behind every quiz is a simple idea: each answer carries a value, and those values decide the result.
Scorecards
Give each answer option a score. InsightSquirrel adds them up as someone answers, then matches the total against the score bands you set for each result. For example, 0 to 49 might be one result and 50 to 100 another.
Category quizzes
Instead of a number, assign each answer to a category. The category with the most matches wins, and the matching result is shown. This is how personality-style and best-fit quizzes work.
Combination quizzes
A combination quiz lets people choose their own path, and the result stacks every outcome they matched, which suits recommenders that can return more than one thing.
